Location:

The ceramic school is located close to the heart of Prague, in a 19th century part, with beautiful buildings in art deco style, shops and restaurants. The famous sites of Prague are only a couple of minutes away by Metro or streetcar. The ceramcis studio features a large working area with several working tables, throwing wheels, a slab machine, 2 big electric kilns, all the necessary tools and a library with lots of books abouts ceramics, glass and art.

Accomodation:

Prag offers a great variety of accomodation facilities starting from modest standard rooms to high luxury hotels. We can arrange all kind of accomodation near the school or in the city centre.Prices start at 35 Euro per person.

Meals:

During the lessons, coffee and beverages will be provided, for lunch there are several restaurants and breweries nearby which offer the traditional czech cuisine as well as all kinds of international food.

from one up to 10 persons , guided by 1-2 teachers

Courses:

The courses take place from Monday until Sunday in the morning from 10:00 to 14:00 h which allows enough spare time to explore the city and to enjoy the countless cultural events that take place in the city. Instead of a 7-days-course you can also choose the 5-days course or even just take a weekend - course if you prefer. All lessons are open to all kinds of levels, from beginners to advanced , as the programme will be adapted to the personal knowledge and aims of the participants.

Throwing course: introduction for beginners / special lessons for advanced

Introduction Pottery: 3 days handbuilding techniques, 2 days wheel throwing, 1 day decoration, 1 day slip casting

Course Lnaguages:

English, Czech, Croatian, Serbian, Bulgarian, Basic -German and -Italian

Leisure Activities:

As the city of Prague belongs to the UNESCO-World Heritage there are numberless cultural activities and events ; museums, art exhibitions, concerts, shows and not less important: the famous beer in local breweries and the typical restaurants. You also have a choice of some nice excursions in the surrounding.
