Situation:
in the heart of the Tuscany beween Florence and Siena, the International Center for Ceramic Arts “La Meridiana” provides professionally organized summer sessions and workshops in a restored 13th century farmhouse.
Accomodation:
Students stay in a restored farmhouse within about a 10 minutes walking distance from the studio. Several double room with shared bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and dining area . The Farmhouse also has a large, covered veranda with beautiful views of the Tuscan countryside.
Meals:
A delicious gourmet lunch will be prepared on all of the working days right at the clay center.For evening meals and breakfast, students have a lot of choice of self-catering or dining in nearby restaurants.
Group size:
up to 12 persons, each student has his own trowing wheel , a fully equipped studio with all kinds of kilns and 2 ceramists leading each course guarantee a professional training
Courses:
arrival is scheduled for sunday late afternoon, a welcome-dinner in a nearby restaurant serves as a friendly get-together opportunity. Courses start Monday morning until friday afternoon, six to eight hours daily. The studio stays open until 8.00 p.m. , the departure with your finished pieces will be on saturday morning.

Leisure activities:
excursions to Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, to the vineyards of the Chianti. A rental car can be hired at the Art Center.
