Earth, water, air and fire - the basic elements of life are also the basic elements of ceramics. Without these elements neither life nor ceramics is possible.
This is the reason why ceramists are down-to-earth people who have a great respect for nature- qualities which are sacrified very often in our society in favour of consumption and belief in progress.
Thousands of years ago man has mixed earth and water - let it dry in the air and handed it over to the power of fire - he created a pot.
However man would not be man if he did not search - and from the most primitive first pot an art and craftmanship has been developped being so fascinating and divers that a lifetime is not enough to experience the uncountable possibilities in form-giving and decoration .
The fascination I encountered since I began to put my hands into clay, I would like to share with people who are eager to unfold their creativity and who have a good eye on the beautiful things of life.

This site is made for all friends of ceramics - a link between those of you who teach and share their knowledge with those of you who want to learn more. For any proposals and constructive hints I will be grateful.
